At SADA, I oversaw all processes related to finance and accounting in a fast-growth environment (the company more than doubled its annual revenue to over $100MM from 2015 to 2017). My responsibilities included review and approval of closing accounting periods (including managing general ledger audits and reconciliations), publication and presentation of financials and variance analyses to the CXO- and Board-level stakeholders, and construction and support of all strategic planning models and ad hoc analyses. In 2017, I led the company through its first-ever financial audit, resulting in the auditing firm issuing an unqualified opinion on the company’s finance and accounting processes and outcomes. In order to achieve this successful result, I overhauled the revenue and cost of sales recognition scheduling for all business units, built Excel-based supporting schedules when the company’s ERP data outputs were deemed insufficient for selections testing purposes, and restated the company’s financials for multiple prior periods in addition to the period that was the subject of the audit.In 2018 and on a part-time basis through Q1 2019, I was the back office lead in a sell-side due diligence process that resulted in a successful and complete divestiture of the company's Microsoft business unit to a strategic buyer (Core BTS) backed by a private equity firm (Tailwind Capital). This allowed SADA to sharpen its focus around its rapidly-growing Google Cloud business unit.In 2016, 2017, and 2018, SADA was named to the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing companies for the 9th, 10th, and 11th years, respectively.

At Hangar202, I managed finance and accounting solutions and FP&A/SP&A offerings for our clients, presenting to C-level management teams, board members, and shareholders when pertinent. Hangar202 was a 2016 selection to the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing companies. My principal engagements while at Hangar202 included the following:- GMV Syncromatics, a multi-department transportation solutions company specializing in hardware systems design / integration and related software-as-a-service offerings, for which I filled the accounting manager and financial controller roles during a sell-side due diligence process. This due diligence process culminated in successful sale of the company to a multi-national corporation based in Europe. GMV Syncromatics was a 2015 selection to the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing companies.- The Branstetter Group (TBG), a management consulting firm that provides strategic guidance and advisory services with a primary focus on the retail hospitality space. At TBG, I served as a client-facing consultant on matters related to accounting, finance, and strategy. I also directed FP&A/SP&A-related analyses and support for client-oriented projects (Arch Motorcycle, Baltaire Restaurant, Barnes & Noble, Boudin Bakery, Derringer Cycles, Ivy Kitchen, J. Nichols Kitchen, La Dolce Vita, LOOK Cinemas, Otto’s Tacos, Sunset Tower Hotel, The Tower Bar, Pitfire Pizza, Poquito Mas, and others).
