As the key strategic leader for AI/ML in the Credit Suisse Lab, I drove innovation by exploring new technologies and identifying moonshot opportunities. I collaborated with a team of data scientists to develop CS Lab’s first outside investable moonshot to disrupt and transform investment banking, private banking, wealth management, and retail banking. Serving on the vision and innovation team, I strategized new opportunities for CS to gain market advantage and competitive edge, and identified multiple proprietary datasets and other valuable public datasets for the project.▶ Developed a business use case for CS Labs to deploy a next-generation analytics platform, in partnership with other CS divisions, to enable over 250K HNW private banking clients to access an investment risk management platform utilizing ML and NLP tools to provide: 1) predictive analytics to rank private company investment targets from “most likely” to “least likely” to be successful, 2) a matching engine to match investors’ interests and preferences to target company deal flow, and 3) due diligence automation allowing investors to analyze vast amounts of data about the company and its founders to highlight potential investment opportunities and risks.▶ Incubated and presented innovative ideas for leading-edge, AI-driven products and services on a weekly basis to transform the industry. ECI is a real estate data analytics platform utilizing predictive analytics, NLP, and computer vision (CV) to fuel property investment decision-making and optimize ROI. I designed and launched AI-driven technology to automatically search and identify fix-and-flip properties in real time to aid the investment decision-making process through appraisal analytics. I explored methods for evaluating properties across the U.S. real estate market and developed a model for rapid deployment of crews to complete a multitude of real estate projects.▶ Built a successful automated valuation model (AVM) to identify worthwhile real estate investments. Leveraging AI and data science, the tool assesses risk and projects likely repair costs and after-repair value (ARV) to ensure significant profit. Algorithm factors include MLS property data, demographics, transaction records, crime data, FEMA, title data, school system rankings, geospatial data, current asking price, and other data insights.▶ Established a business use case. Met with end users, investors, and developers to create a system use case diagram (UCD). Gathered requirements and explored public domain datasets. Created a website wireframe, developed the algorithm, created the process and math to process the data, and visualized results.▶ Tested the model and achieved up to 60% profit on at least 7 properties by utilizing the AVM algorithm to identify the top properties to invest in as fix-and-flips. ▶ Leveraged CV and image recognition using convolutional neural networks (CNN) to rank the potential investment while factoring in the surrounding comparative properties to predict ROI. One of 4 founders of Stratis Investments, a multistrategy hedge fund focused on news-based trading strategies and systematic pairs-trading strategies. Spearheaded research, development, and launch of the high-frequency trading (HFT) platform.
