Daniel Scrivner is a Head of Design at ClassDojo. He possess expertise in user experience, creative direction, interaction design, user interface design, art direction and 8 more skills. Colleagues describe him as "Daniel is a rare and valuable blend of inspiring talent, extreme diligence & attention to detail, and masterful communication. I cannot recommend him more highly. You have to work with Daniel to truly understand the multitude of gifts he brings to the table. He is not only a true professional, but a delight to work with.", "Over my last two years at Square, I worked with Daniel on the Photo Team at Square. During that time Daniel was my Manager and Team Lead and oversaw a variety of projects I worked on as a Retoucher and Imaging Specialist. He was the type of person to step back and hand responsibility to others on the team rather than micromanage, which I really appreciated - It made everyone feel empowered to make their own decisions and constantly grow. Over the two years of working with Daniel, I can honestly say I almost never felt stressed or overloaded with work - which was a result of him being able to properly plan timelines and budget on projects, as well as push back on unrealistic requests from higher up people in the company. One quality that I always looked up to in Daniel, was his strong communication skills with everyone on the team as well as people outside of the photo team. He was never afraid to voice what was working and what wasn't working, and that was an extremely important skill to have as a lead. He was also always available to talk and made everyone feel like an equal and that they had a voice. Aside from his great interpersonal skills, he had an eye for beautiful and tasteful imagery. I can honestly say the photography we produce here at Square has noticeably gotten better and better over time. He didn't believe in staying stagnant, and always found a way to elevate our brand creatively through imagery. To look at Square's brand a few years ago to how it looks now, there's clearly a big difference - which is a testament to Daniel's constant progression here. Having Daniel as a Team Lead was a pleasure and I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again, or recommend him for any creative endeavors. I'll greatly miss him as our Lead and I look forward to seeing what he does next! - Justin", and "There are few people I've worked alongside who are as capable and kind as Daniel. I worked with him for several years and was exposed to his consistent dedication to high-quality design and photography work. Daniel is an inclusive creative leader. He encourages experimentation, learning, and advocating for what's best for the work. It would be a pleasure to work with him again in the future."
