Led the direction of an enterprise portal with more than 700 pages and 30 proprietary applications catering to the needs of more than 65,000 licensed Aflac Agents. Collaborated with Information Technology, Marketing, and Production departments throughout the company to meet the needs of agents by successfully implementing consistent content, interactive design, and analytical reporting to content owners and application owners. Provided technical support and training to more than 50 content owners in a distributed content management model.Worked with large digital media agencies such as First Born, NY, Enterpulse, and Digitas to facilitate, code, and design highly interactive content within the constraints of Aflac’s content management system. Additionally, worked as the key resource in a two year redesign where the web site was enhanced from 17 pages to more than 400. Aided and facilitated design meetings, discovery, content migration, coding and implementation of elements of the site.

As a Systems Security Administrator, responsibilities included new account creation, migration, deletion; troubleshooting Active Directory user accounts and groups; and any internal applications used for single sign on (SSO). As an advocate for self‐improvement and efficiency, developed administrative tools using Windows scripting and implemented new procedures that are still being used today. Administered user accounts, accessed and controlled Windows Server, SAP, RACF, Oracle, and Linux systems.

Ensured the quality production of internally developed web and mainframe applications. Created use cases and highly decomposed test steps to ensure the highest level of quality for applications moving into production within project time restraints.

Responsible for writing and distributing legally‐required and other important internal procedure changes to a department of about 100 employees. Created several new channels of communication that went beyond traditional communication styles. Utilized the web to create engaging presentations for the department, making the consumption of content easier without losing valuable production time.
