With a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, one of the world's leading institutions in the field, I have developed a strong foundation and a keen interest in aircraft propulsion systems, turbomachinery, and engine health diagnostics and monitoring. My academic projects and courses have given me a deep theoretical understanding of thermodynamics, aerodynamics, structures, and dynamics of gas turbines, as well as practical skills in MATLAB, Excel, CFD, and FEM software tools.I have also gained valuable hands-on experience in propulsion maintenance, design, and research through my previous work roles. As a propulsion engineering intern at Air Canada, I was responsible for producing heavy and hospital visit workscoping documents of CFM56-5A and -5B engine types for both planned and UER engine visits. I also improved Air Canada fleet reliability by conducting in-depth analyses of numerous recurring engine findings and maintenance procedures. Most importantly, I gained valuable hands-on work experience in a highly regulated industry. As an instrumentation engineer at Technel Engineering, I designed and revised pressure test bench systems for CANDU nuclear reactors, using SolidWorks and meeting TSSA standards. I have also demonstrated effective communication, attention to detail, and time management skills throughout my seven years of customer service work and full-time studies. I am confident, adaptable, and eager to learn new things and face new challenges in the aerospace industry.
