I started in the Motor industry, January 2002 at City Holden as Pre Delivery Technician, my first full time job!I would perform Pre Delivery Inspections, fitting accessories, to washing cars three times a week.In September 2007 I pursued an opportunity in the Light Commercial World at Mercedes Benz Vans.Then onto Prime Mover trucks in preparation for delivery. I then was promoted to New Vehicles Sales with the vans. My “Apprenticeship” for selling. A time I look back on gratefully.I moved back to City Holden, this time in a selling capacity. Working at a New and Used yard, I learnt the best of both worlds and absolutely loved it. Winning multiple Holden Guild awards.In May 2016, I was promoted to Branch Manager over seeing sales in New and Used and leading a team. A fantastic opportunity for my development at a great company, such as City Holden. I won employee of the year in 2017 in a challenging time with Holden’s imminent departure.April 2018 I made the exciting move to Paradise Mazda as a Sales Consultant. Falling back in love with the nuts and bolts of selling re energised me again.Again, winning multiple Mazda Guild awards.In August 2020 I was promoted to New Car Sales Manager at Paradise Mazda. A job I still do to this very day. I achieved Master Status in the Mazda Guild for Sales Manager in 2020 and recently in 2022.Taking on this role at one of Adelaide’s most respected Dealerships and a fantastic brand in Mazda, was again another major development for my career.A career I continue to seek to develop and grow.Thanks for reading,Daniel.
