Creating relationships in distribution with both customer and suppliers to ensure our customers receive the best products, at the best price, with on-time delivery. This includes marketing and advertising of all coaxial component products, as well as expanding our line card to include vendors who share our commitment to innovative, quality products and meaningful relationships with customers. Additionally, daily functions include application engineering, strategic pricing & negotiations, and performance analysis.

- Appointed official Project Manager of $1.2m order, coordinating five teams (manufacturing, engineering, quality, logistics/supply chain) from four countries, four factories, sales/distribution facility, and two external testing service providers- Cradle-to-grave application execution began with placing products, proving product performance to customer, and pricing negotiation.- Planning, scheduling, and tracking all activities, conducting on-site manufacturing readiness review, coordinating third party services, collaborating with customer engineering and procurement.

In this customer-facing role, I am responsible for the technical support and sales growth for three key customers in the North American Aerospace & Defense market. In collaboration with a Key Account Manager we focus on strategic relationships with regional sales representatives and customer engineers to increase product penetration. My time is split between project management, large program development, customer support travel, and technical support. The support functions require detailed product knowledge for reviewing customer technical drawings to determining compliance with required performance specifications, military and space standards (MIL, NASA, ESA), manufacturing standards (ISO, SAE, ASTM, IPC) and international trade law (ITAR, EAR99, ACEA). As the official project manager for large volume orders ($300k-$2.5m), I coordinate the efforts of up to four factories, three engineering design centers, two sales organizations, and numerous suppliers.

My position as Senior Application Engineer both expanded and concentrated my function as I become the Application Engineering team lead, but also beame focus on defense and military airborne, globally. My role as team lead required me to direct the activities of 5-6 other Application Engineers, conduct performance reviews, train the team, develop a training program, and create training materials. My role as an Application Engineer grew to include all Huber+Suhner product (cables, connectors, fiber optics, lightning protectors, antennas, etc.), and all defense applications for North America, South America, Southern & Eastern Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, India, Southern Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. With these expanded territorial duties, I supported technical customer visits, and representing Huber+Suhner at aerospace and defense trade shows and exhibitions.

At Huber+Suhner Astrolab Inc., I became proficient in RF, MW, and MM-wave signal transmission and the design principles of coaxial cables, connectors, and assemblies. While utilizing the product portfolio and custom design capabilities, I delivered solutions for applications in aerospace & defense and test & measurement, I managed high-value projects for global key accounts from concept through delivery, collaborated with the engineering design team on custom product development, functioned as technical expert to customers and the Huber+Suhner sales organization, reviewed engineering and technical drawings to ensure adherence to numerous quality, performance, and manufacturing standards (MIL specifications, NASA/ESA, ASTM, SAE, IEEE, IPC, ISO, etc.)., and generated strategic product pricing. I consistently managed 10-12 long-term, high value projects with multi-million dollar sales potentials, while supporting numerous smaller applications and existing business. This position required me to serve as project manager, technical expert, engineering consultant, and brand ambassador.Additionally, I took on a strategic marketing role by providing instructional customer visits, identifying technology trends, product pricing & profitability, and the development of marketing material (presentations, catalogs, etc.).

•Developed interactive STEM workshops to introduce fundamental science and engineering principles in fun and exciting ways.•Organized and executed electrical and mechanical training workshops for Outreach Leaders to improve their technical, organizational, and presentations skills to ensure the future of the program.•Improved each workshop through documentation and analysis, growing the program by partnering with Amherst Media (amherstmedia.org), and student chapters of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

- Created multi-layered, highly detailed 2-D AutoCAD drawings of existing HVAC /HEPA air handling systems and plant utilities (water and electrical). - Analyzed and interpreted existing manufacturing layouts and architectural drawings to accurately represent physical measurements, equipment technical specifications, and utilities block diagrams- Identified and corrected dimensional inaccuracies in existing architectural drawings which improved overall facility layout and design.
