Committee chair of CPC's Thought Leadership Committee, where I am currently leading the production efforts for a new pre-recorded interview series with industry and technology influencers called the Shared Pains Podcast. As Construction Technology Specialist at The Walsh Group, I specialize in corporate purchasing, utilization and implementation of document management systems and protocols.

In this role, I lead the organization in integrating technology advancements throughout operations by promoting, educating and implementing process improvements. As part of the overall Quality Service Group, I work closely with service groups, project teams, and Regional Technology and Quality Champions to streamline our construction processes such as design collaboration, document management, and construction technologies that make our work safer, more efficient, and productive.

Construction Technologies Manager for The Walsh Group Building Sector, in this role, I focus on reviewing current and future documentation management platforms, understanding utilization and data analytics to allow for better utilization within the company. Further, this position's goal is to aid in the implementation and role out of new technological endeavors within the organization, whether it be research and development, piloting or enterprise role out.-Development/Review of current systems procedures-Implementation and utilization planning-Systems training programming-Contractual procurement and negotiations of various document management solutionsConstruction Technology ForumAs part of this group we access new and innovative technology within the construction industry and how they will benefit within the organization. As part of this group various corporate standards have been developed with emphasis on collaboration, lean procedures, and reduction in IT and Corporate risk. From this group various committees were started to aid in corporate standardization.Software Standardization CommitteeAs a part of this team we access all current software programs utilized within our organization. The objective is to standardize our corporate offering of software to limit risk and reduce cost through enterprise sales and licensing.Pilot Program CommitteeThis committee was develop to create a standard for corporate pilot programs. The committee is developing procedural measures to allow for piloting of new tech within the industry.

Currently I work for The Walsh Group in Norfolk, Virginia, with a background in construction management. I have experience in Federal jobs as well as state and private sector jobs. Specializing in coordination, quality control, estimating and job site safety.

As an co-op with The Walsh Group, I was given the same responsibilities as a full time, entry-level Project Engineer. During my internship, I gained exposure to multiple aspects of Walsh Construction.
