Built and sold small retail business from the ground up. Responsible for developing and implementing a bootstrap marketing strategy and driving business to the facility. Developed a website, identified the target market, tested multiple outbound marketing channels, and successfully targeted children’s educational facilities in the area. Sold in June of 2011.

Responsible for marketing plan development and implementation, starting from the ground up. Performed marketing research, crafted the message, and developed the website and promotional materials. Worked to refine the offering and communicate with budgeting contacts, investigators, and attorneys within the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Responsible for developing and implementing the sales and marketing strategy for Threads. Managed sales representatives, designed marketing literature, and sold complex analytical software to law enforcement on federal, state, and local levels. Most significant achievement was implementing an outbound/inbound marketing strategy and CRM system that increased awareness and contributed to increasing sales by 60% from 2009 to 2010. DirectHit was acquired soon after by Securus Technologies.
