The Pleasant Hills Volunteer Fire Company is the primary fire and rescue service for the Borough of Pleasant Hills, a community located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. The PHVFC is tasked with responding to emergencies when called, as well as providing other assistance and services to residents, such as fire safety programs and fire extinguisher training.I proudly serve in several capacities within the Pleasant Hills Volunteer Fire Company. They include:• Served as Vice President and a Member of the Board of Directors, overseeing the management and administration of the fire company, a nonprofit organization.• Served as a Member of the Audit Committee and as Chairman since 2014, ensuring funds are properly spent and tracked.• Served as a Member of the Fundraising Committee, working to find new funding opportunities and develop applications when needed.• Served as a Member of the Building Committee, focusing on needed improvements to the fire station and training facility.
