Develop and implement the vision, strategy, and structure for learning experiences for Fred Hutch and SCCA professional and leadership learning and development programs. People Management: Lead and grow a high-performing team of learning professionals that manages, creates and delivers learning solutions and strategies that enable people to perform their best.Program Management: Manage the organization’s learning and development program that offer a wide range of learning program to staff and leaders such as new employee and new manager orientations, professional development opportunities, first-level leader program. Programs are centered around engaging participants to grow and develop their knowledge and behaviors in a way that supports the vision and goals of the organization. This includes understanding needs, creating impactful and successful learning experiences, and evaluating and measuring results. Included in this work are budget management, vendor management, managing and influencing stakeholders throughout the organizations and at all levels, and driving change.Project Management: Manage learning projects from large to small that include discovery of needs, understanding requirements, scoping necessary work, budget, and resources, establishing timelines and milestone, assigning and managing staff resources, monitoring progress, deliverables, and assessing and measuring success. Examples: implementation of the organization-wide learning management system, creation of LMS governance structure, and new manager orientation re-design project.

Provide learning opportunities for staff and faculty in support of University Advancement’s mission. Evaluate, develop, and implement a variety of learning programs to accommodate the varied learning styles and needs of faculty and staff. Partner with central offices and campus partners to support Advancement-wide training initiatives and opportunities.

Manage, coordinate, and deliver face-to-face education and training programs for SCCA staff. Design and develop courses using adult learning principles and integrate interactive concepts and activities in both instructor-led and eLearning formats to encourage knowledge application and skill development. Develop training programs based on organization and learner needs. Evaluate program effectiveness and instructor performance to provide feedback and coaching to improve outcomes and transfer of learning. Manage organization’s Learning Management System (LMS), including all aspects of system management, data management, maintenance, staff training assignments, records, reports, and content. Work in partnership with organization leaders, committees, major project initiatives, and subject matter experts to create the best, most effective, and efficient training experience possible.
