I managed a research laboratory comprised of multiple lead scientists and a group of over 60 staff and visiting scientists. I negotiated the dispersement and organization of millions of dollars of federal and state grant funds and navigated the bureaucracy of the museum to ensure my lead scientists were given top priority in the Museum organization. Additionally, I oversaw interns and mentees and gave informational tours to visiting schools and donor groups.

While at Trillium I used my science background to find emerging biomedical technologies that were appropriate for our clients' venture interests. Additionally, I maintained a large database of technology opportunities, developed relationships with university technology-transfer agencies and worked closely with venture partners to determine future goals and needs.
