I moved to DBi UK to fulfil the same role I had in Spain and to try to help the team achieve ambitious targets. After a year of working in a more challenging market I surpassed my individual sales target and helped the business grow 50% in revenue compared to the previous year. After 9 years of working for the same entity (although through different brands: e-interactive, Havas Media, DBi) it was time for me to embark on a new adventure.

After the acquisition of Elisa Interactive by Havas Media Group (HMG) in 2013, DBi became the data specialist unit within Havas Media Group. By moving to DBi my objective was to help the brand grow as part of HMG. My role was to manage the sales team and ensure we positioned ourselves as a strategic analytics division. By the end of my first year at DBi I met all my sales targets and put in place a more sophisticated CRM process to manage leads and close opportunities.

Responsibilities included:- Manage the Performance team in Barcelona, a team of 15 consultants.- Account manage some of the main accounts in the Performance department, defining the initial strategy, leading the production team and ensuring objectives are being met (such as Danone and La Caixa).- Define the digital marketing services the agency offers.- Partner with providers of the best tools in the sector to ensure we are using these tools with our clients.- Create and present proposals to potential new clients as well as define sales process to grow our client base.

I managed the direction of the agency positioning ourselves as a data driven performance agency offering SEO, SEM, Display, Email Marketing and Social Media services. After year on year growth for six years the company was bought by the biggest media agency in Spain, Havas Media.
