Managed development of MashPlant Studio. Wrote copy, design print and web ads, lead focus groups, pitched and sold to teachers and administrators, and developed text and video content.

In charge of wholesale, catering, in-store ice cream production, and day-to-day store operations at local home made ice cream company. Develop sales leads, work with chefs to create new flavors that will complement their menus, coordinate ice cream production to fulfill wholesale and catering orders and prevent flavor outages, and maintain excellent standards of customer service.

I made and served the best ice cream in the world — enjoyed by ice cream lovers all over Chicago and countless music fans at Lollapalooza — for six summers.

Founded the design department at Kenyon College’s student-run weekly newspaper. Recruited, trained, and directed a staff of print designers and illustrators. Planned and executed a design refresh of the newspaper, including the implementation of a new production workflow and visual style guide. Trained the editorial staff on all non-editing aspects of the production workflow. Wrote numerous staff editorials on controversial campus issues as a member of the editorial board of the paper.
