Working with the vector-borne disease team, this role focused on public health initiatives preventing arboviruses in PA. Along with public education, handling patient records, and gaining insight into the field of epidemiology, this role centered around conducting preliminary research on alpha-gal allergy syndrome in PA.

Based at the Boys and Girls Club of Lancaster's Camp Hogan, which provides access to a range of experiences in the outdoors to promote positive choices and successful futures. This role focused on developing public health programming to be delivered to children ages 6-11 in a camp environment, while also engaging with students as a positive role model.

Cared for and gathered data on animals housed by the Dickinson College Biology Department. Largely focused on a collection of red tail boa constrictors, with minor tasks involving drosophila, toads, and rodents.
