I am serving as an Associate Pastor at Harvest Valley Community Church. My duties include presenting 15-20 sermons per year, leading the adult small group program, assisting in budget preparation, providing counsel to members, and performing general oversight of the church. While this position is part time and unpaid it is the most rewarding position I hold because of the ability to serve others and introduce them to a lifelong relationship with Christ.

I lead the Humana Clinical Pharmacy Review Analytics team. We are responsible for all analytics around Humana's Rx prior authorization operation including the budget forecast, strategic analytics, compliance reporting, and operational metrics. We have automated 100's of hours of work with the Microsoft Power Azure platforms while significantly upgrading the analytics capabilities for our key stakeholders.

Led a team engaged in repricing Group Medicare and Employer Group pharmacy benefit packages serving the Group Medicare and Employer Group sales function of Humana. We upgraded the business product by creating customizable output options and streamlining the processes to deliver faster results. This aided in Humana landing a 170,000 member Group Medicare client in 2020.

I created the logic for a system to create invoices and analytics for $40 million in rebates of pharmaceutical products administered in a medical setting. This included serving as a consultant in the process to integrate this logic into the enterprise level IT process.

I served on a consultant team that was the go to for all business intelligence for Passport Health. We transitioned all BI functions from a SQL environment over to a SAS environment. This included rewriting all of the programming and code and developing several new applications from scratch. I also joined the team as the only member with prior SAS experience and helped train the other members of the team in SAS programming. Analysis I created from scratch included provider risk share arrangements, utilization management opportunity identification, and financial performance reporting.

I served on the Medicare Advantage Trend Forecasting team. My role included executing the morbidity modeling, workday model, and the fixed fee leveraging model. I also developed a more granular version of the morbidity model that looked at morbidity at a region and plan level instead of from the top down.

I served on the Prescription Drug Pricing and Analysis team. I created financial projections that aided in pricing and resource allocation. I also performed competitor analysis and aided in the production of emerging experience reports in the beginning of new plan years.

I am currently serving as a claims adjuster at Allstate. I adjust injury claims. This involves evaluating complex injury and treatment records to determine a fair settlement value and then negotiating this settlement with the injured party. Delicate customer service skills and compassion are a must.I also serve as the customer service team lead. I evaluate customer service metrics to find improvement opportunities and present training aimed at these opportunity areas. I have recently been serving on the Innovation and Idea team in our office. This team has been set with the task of identifying barriers to productivity and needless or duplicate tasks. We then craft solutions to either eliminate the tasks or overcome the barriers.

I served as an account manager in the builder division. I managed a large and complex account through a very difficult time in this industry. My duties included bidding projects, overseeing installations, following up on completion, and ensuring payment of outstanding invoices. Unfortunately the builder whom I served did not make it through the housing bust of late 2008, but we were able to identify their difficulties and recover large sums of unpaid bills before firing them as a customer. This saved the company a great deal of money, but I had to seek other opportunities as my income diminished.
