Responsible for designing audio visual solutions to fit the clients brief. This includes conducting site surveys & quotations and once successful briefing design & engineering teamsTypically working with sales, design team and project managers to ensure proposed solutions are suitable and provide the best solution for the clients requirements and budget. Projects range from apartments, Multi-Dwelling Units and large houses to restaurants, large hotels and corporate offices.

I'm responsible for the development and maintenance of high quality audio visual (AV) facilities across the Exeter campuses of the University. Developing efficient and innovative AV tools and technologies that allow students and staff to deliver and participate in the highest standard of teaching and research. This includes evaluating and reviewing new standards in software and hardware assessing its performance against other competing market trends and products. I coordinate the programming of AV equipment, control and monitoring systems across AV installations. Work to identify user requirements, draw up AV designs, and documentation for an efficient tender process. Once a project is initiated I participate in the project through conception, design through to delivery and run thorough snagging and handover.

In this role I was responsible for maintaining and offering technical support to over 120 lecture theatres and seminar rooms. This included repairing cabling faults, performing maintenance and supporting our lectures and external delegates. Support was offered via the phone, in person and via Support works (Enterprise Support Platform). I was also responsible for managing calendar bookings, and arranging the setup and testing of the video conferences between campuses and offsite calls.
