How can we address the challenges of today, while creating future-proof solutions for tomorrow? At Cboost, we believe that smart technologies can be the answer. I started Cboost in 2020 with the vision to accelerate the transition towards a more sustainable and circular society by using AI and Robotics. In other words, boosting the transition towards Society 5.0. As a leader with an engineering background, I understand processes and systems inside-out, no matter the complexity. I have been a software engineer, system designer, lecturer, researcher, project lead, department head, and a professor. In many ways, these are hats I am still wearing in my current work as an entrepreneur and CEO. And no matter the path I chose, I always kept my feet on the ground, connected to hands-on work. My mission has also stayed the same: work with eager, smart, and passionate people to boost the transition towards a sustainable future and circular society facilitated by intelligent systems. Let’s connect!

(Applied) Professor RobotizationAvans University Of Applied Science Apr 2019 - Oct 2022Breda Area, NetherlandsWe perform applied research to support several transitions that are required for a sustainable future: 1. The energy transition 2. Material transition 3. Protein transition 4. Urbanization 5. Globalization. My research teams works at these challanges by creating the 'brains' of machines and let them act in the physical world to become 'robots'. We do this by looking not only at the technological, but also the human perspective. As professor (Lector) Robotization & Sensoring at the center of expertise Technical Innovation my main goals will be to:- Connect Companies, Research and Education in the field of Robotics & Sensoring / IoT. - Perform Research & Development to increase knowledge in the field.- Increase the (knowledge & practical) potential of Robotization & Sensoring for society.- Create a healthy and safe balance between the (human) user and the autonomous system.- Work at a resilient city | The durable, livable and safe future of our world. -
