As a software developer, I work in an Agile team that continues to add functionality to the Repository for Analytics in Virtualized Environments (RAVEn) Innovation Lab for the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement within the Department of Homeland Security. Relevant projects include Data Analysis and Research for Trade Transparency System (DARTTS), the Trade Transparency Unit File Mapper, and the Visa Security Program (VSP).

As a software developer, I worked in an Agile team that continued to add functionality to the Active Tool for Linked Analysis and Screening (ATLAS) Project for the US Citizenship and Immigration Services and the Department of Homeland Security as a whole. As a member of the team I designed technical implementations of new business requests and applied my attention to detail to diagnose and address bugs in the legacy code base.

As a book keeper I conducted a daily inventory of all financial assets in a store with over $1 million in weekly net sales and scheduled all cash deliveries and pick-ups. I served as the manager of the store outside of standard business hours, enforced company policy for all transactions, and reported all transactions to the appropriate authorities in accordance with Dodd-Frank regulations.

As the Assistant Front End Manager I oversaw all cashiers and employees in customer-facing roles. I also served as the Hiring Manager at several points and was responsible for hosting a job fair, hiring more than a dozen new employees, and training all new employees and managers to ensure success. I calculated weekly sales forecasts, then used my forecasts to write the schedules for approximately 150 employees and to order merchandise for the front end and other departments as needed. Most importantly, I ensured the satisfaction of both customers and employees, ultimately receiving more than 200 customer satisfaction awards within my district for being singled out by customers as the employee who made their visit a positive experience.

As a cashier at Safeway I acted as the primary point of contact to ensure customer satisfaction, receiving several awards for my customer service skills and ultimately earning recognition as the Employee of the Month before my promotion. I was consistently recognized for my accuracy on product look-ups and for being the fastest cashier in the store. I applied my ability to quickly troubleshoot point-of-sale issues and became the designated trainer for other cashiers and ensured a smooth transition to a new point-of-sale system by relaying what I had learned through experience.
