Scouted research plots to determine the growth stage of corn, cotton, and soybeans and then subsequently planned treatment of those plots with herbicides, fungicides, and other products. Performed ratings of research plots to evaluate weed efficacy and phytotoxicity of chemical treatments. Created a detailed spray and rate calendar to ensure that all required treatments and ratings were completed. Assisted in organizing and facilitating two agricultural retail tours with approximately 100 attendees

Served as a teaching assistant for 4 previous classes taught by Dr. Marne Coit at NC State University, who teaches in the Department of Agricultural Resource Economics, and am currently serving as a teaching assistant for three additional classes. Planned a Hemp Law Continuing Legal Education (CLE) event with Dr. Coit to inform North Carolina attorneys on current government regulation and agricultural policy related to hemp production.Wrote a grant proposal for NC State University to the NC Biotechnology Center for $1,448 to cover costs for the Hemp Law CLE event. This proposal was approved and we were granted the funds.

Conducted online research for Dr. Marne Coit of NC State University on a Food Law textbook that she was writing, titled "Food Systems Law: An introduction for non-lawyers", ensuring the accuracy of information and finding sources to support claims made in the textbook.Edited manuscripts for the Food Law textbook to ensure writing flowed well and articulated information well.
