Engaging in the additional role of Human Resources Manager, I implement hiring practice protocols, revise the employee manual, develop compensation packages, create job ads, and oversee candidate screenings and staff evaluations. While providing financial planning and oversight, I supported the operational performance of an organization with 3 companies, 2 physical locations, 1 online location, and 5 sets of financial books. Key to the assignment, I effectively oversaw operating/capital budgeting, cash management, payroll, and internal controls, as well as general administration, human resources, and IT.Select accomplishments include:• Creation and commencement of a business plan for the acquisition of $5M watch brand Festina USA with 0 additional increases to operational overhead, resulting in a revenue increase of $2M.• Successful passage through the recession of 2008 through the structure of a transaction, lead of negotiations, and provision of due diligence for the profitable sale of the sterling silver division for $4.5M. • Savings of $2.5M through the consolidation of departments, elimination of redundant staff duties among companies in areas including purchasing, billing, inventory, and shipping, improvements in staff training programs, staff promotions, revision of staff duties according to strengths, release of underperforming staff, and improved internal communications. • Boost in cash flow by $400K through the renegotiation of a loan agreement, as well as a reduction in the percentage lost off goods marked at a reduced price sold in retail stores.

In my first of two promotions with the organization, I orchestrated planning and P&L of business operations with the emphasis on purchasing, billing, and warehouse/inventory management. Significant to my role and key to my professional development, I supervised 7 Managers and a staff of 75 in Logistics, Warehousing/Inventory, Customer Service, and Billing, and controlled a budget of $10M. While maintaining operational efficiency and effectiveness, I also focused on delivering an outstanding rate of customer satisfaction. Some of my highest achievements include: • Lowering of average inventory from $3.2M to $1.8M through the deployment of a strategic plan for inventory management.• Attainment of a 50% reduction of overtime, 10% increase in fulfillment rates, and 35% staff decrease in administration and warehouse through the reorganization of the Warehouse Department.• Savings of $300K during the U.S. economic crisis of 2007 through strategic staff reductions, reorganization of staff duties, renegotiation of vendor payment plans, and liquidation of excess inventory.
