Looking upon my professional life, I realize that the more knowledge I acquire, the more I would like to learn. Continuous learning and improvement has been a personal mission of mine through my tenure as Chief Financial Officer at Joan Rivers Worldwide Enterprises. I remain humbled to have met and exceeded the demands of Joan, while maintaining a corporate culture of which I know she would be proud.Key to my career, I have provided advisory and consultation to every arm of an organization while maintaining my focus on the finances. My responsibilities include making sure that long- and short-term plans for business development, solvency, and profitability are established. My objective is to provide teams with the best tools and strategies to realize consistent excellence and accomplish set goals.It has never been enough for me to be outstanding in a senior finance role --though of course, maintaining transparent, efficient, and collaborative financial operations comes first. My curiosity, energy, and commitment to the organizations I have worked for has led to an understanding of what brings together high-performing administrations, operations, and IT Departments. As a result, I improved the administration of the Human Resources Department, facilitated effective IT support for the organization, and cleared channels of inter-department communications. Gaining expansive knowledge of mid-sized and large corporations, I have enhanced my competencies in my primary role as a senior-level financial expert, and optimized processes involving cash flow, AP/AR, payroll, financial statements, treasury and tax management and internal/external auditing. With Joan’s memory, I carry her lessons of bringing hard work, passion for your profession, and faith in everything you do into the next phase of my career.
