• Deputy project manager of NCHRP 17-46 Cost Effectiveness Evaluation for Safety Countermeasures:- Developed quantitative (benefit-cost) and qualitative (sketch-level) methods for evaluating safety project cost effectiveness.- Applied the two methods to prioritize engineering and behavioral safety projects for the City of San Francisco, and the North Carolina Department of Transportation.• Cooperated with the SFCTA on multiple Countywide Transportation Plan projects:- Developed a framework for scoring transportation projects based on sustainability metrics such as mode shift from auto to transit, greenhouse gas reduction, and auto and transit congestion.- Designed a dashboard for users to toggle and test the budget scenarios.

• Improved SFCTA’s travel model representation of transit capacity and vehicle dwell:- Regressed dwell time with passenger activities metrics on 12 San Francisco bus routes using SPSS. - Incorporated vehicle dwell time and capacity functions for model implementation.- Validated and recalibrated modified model with observed regional travel and U.S. census data. • Analyzed traffic impacts of policy, land use and infrastructure projects with the CHAMP travel model.

• Corresponded with municipal planners to update zoning maps for travel model land use scenarios.• Researched and forecasted post-secondary enrollment for a school trip generation model.
