Evaluated potential investment opportunities within the financial services industry, including foreign exchange and payment processors, asset and wealth management firms, and specialty finance companies. Conducted due diligence on prospective investments’ operations, competitive landscapes, and industry dynamics; constructed models to project financial performance and assess returns; identified investment rationales and exit strategies. Co-led diligence and closing of two investments and exit of one portfolio company.Investments included REPAY, Currencies Direct, United Community Banks, and NoteMachine.

Advised management teams and Boards of Directors of financial institutions, primarily banks, on strategic decisions concerning M&A and debt and equity capital. Participated in various aspects of transaction execution, working directly with senior J.P. Morgan professionals, client management teams, and potential acquirers and partners. Co-led advisory and closing of two acquisitions and several capital markets transactions.
