During this time I did some freelance consulting in the baking industry, gave private English lessons to Brazilian learners, and built the import export operations for Poli Service, a family-owned Trading Company in Itaperuna, RJ, Brazil with services in the construction and dairy industries. During this time I also backpacked Europe on two occasions!

Led the chapter in raising $40,000 for pediatric cancer research through mailings and four fundraising trips.
