I then got a posting in 2006 as labor in the concentrator and shortly after was posted as the filter attendant. A job that required me to maintain filter booths (3 zinc, 1 lead and 1 bulk) that also included the cleaning and maintenance of the scrubbers. In 2008 I was given the posting for underground warehouse attendant. In charge of ordering the multitude of parts and equipment needed for the company to run efficiently and within budget guide lines at the same time. In 2009 I was given the posting for production equipment operator. The training I received allowed me to muck with remote scoop trams and trucks safely and affectively in difficult and sometimes daring stopes. And I was also trained on other equipment like forklifts and service trucks. I was transferred to the mechanical department and stayed there till the mine closure in 2013.
