Daniel is a change-maker who dedicates his life to fostering symbiotic relationships in society and building a sustainable, inclusive, conscious and thriving future for humanity. He holds a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in communications.Daniel has experience advocating for intergenerational justice, climate justice, and open government. He has also helped leaders and organizations to create a meaningful impact in society for sustainable development, by building strong symbiotic alliances. His collaborations with international organizations such as UNICEF, UNDP, ILO, the EU, among others, combine with his work with grassroots organizations and social leaders in advancing sustainable development. His major achievements include the approval of Andean Bill for the Protection of Nature within the Andean Parliament, planting more than 2,000 trees with high school volunteers, and representing the voice of youth at National, Regional, and International levels. Daniel is also a proud alumnus of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). During a 2023 U.S. Department of State IVLP program entitled: Youth and Civic Engagement. Daniel currently works as an Advocacy and Communications Officer at the Norwegian Refugee Council NRC, promoting the social and economic inclusion of young refugees from Venezuela in Ecuador.
