- Working on the 60th biggest Superyacht in the world as a Project Engineer having the right “can do” attitude and a pure technical approach, with the main duties of stripping down and checking the actual exhaust system and fully refit of the generator room (two main generators and systems)- Liaise with the other departments team leaders to assure workflow for the engineering department and keep the planned work in the timeframe- Strip down the main exhaust system and crane out all the components including the 9 ton main silencer following the lift plans and Health and Safety procedures- Lead the stripping down procedure of the generator room and supervise the lifting and removal of the main generators (436 kW Deutz engines)- Lead and supervise the team which removes the ship’s hull valves and clean/test each valve for conformance with Lloyd’s Register requirements - Liaise with Project Managers to plan the daily work in accordance with client’s and register requirements- Strip down, clean and test a part of the HI-FOG fire system- Pressure test the newly designed and built pipework- Prepare the procedure and coordinate the team to shift three new generators in place - Removed the propeller shafts (2 segments and 2 hydraulic SKF couplings each) with the main purpose of checking and replacing of the thrust and rubber bearings

- Responsible for testing of equipment and systems (water maker, fresh water, grey water, black water systems)- Filling up the PDC reports for all the equipment in engine room (generators, stabilisers, hydraulic and electric actuators)- Checking the fluid levels and working pressure for hydraulic equipment (trim tabs, stabilisers, steering, bathing platform)- Testing engines working parameters and filling up the PDC report- Testing bow and stern thrusters - Checking hydraulic systems and tanks for leaks- Pressure testing the fuel tanksResponsible for all aspects of the installation of engines and associated equipment within the boats - fuel tanks, lines, filters, pumps - hydraulic systems - water systems, including fitting of water makers and tanks - engine lifting and installation in engine room - engine control systems, mechanical - engine electrical control systems - Side Power stabilizer systems with SPS hydraulic actuators installation - hydraulic packs installation - hydraulic trim tabs - hydraulic power steering and auto pilot - hydraulic platforms installation - bow thrusters and stern thrusters installation - Cummins diesel generators installation - engine cooling systems, raw water systems - alignment of engine shafts and gear boxes - understand and comply with IPC (In Process Control) and quality standards at all times - conscious and vigilant of company Health and Safety procedures at all times

- Coordinate a team of 8 mechanics and engineers to fulfill the contracts assignments- In Aug 2015 I have signed an important maintenance contract with the Emergency Situations Authority in Romania for maintaining a number of 250 vessels (small boats, powerboats and RIBs) for the next 3 years- Training the mechanics and engineers to ensure the highest quality level of the services- Ensuring that every team player respects the company’s visual identity and quality policy- Delegate team leaders to fulfill every key duty- Continuous searching and negotiating new maintenance contracts with important companies and public institutions all over the country

• Maintenance, scheduled repairs and overhaul of marine and industrial diesel engines: - Volvo Penta, Yanmar, Caterpillar, MAN, Bukh, Wartsila, Steyr Motors- 12+ years of experience with Volvo Penta industrial and marine propulsion systems: - experience with overhauling of Ruston RK270 diesel engines: - maintenance, scheduled repairs and overhauling - experience working offshore, onshore and onsite (in remote locations) without the possibility of getting help if needed• Industrial rotating and static equipment (power plant equipment and systems)- hands-on experience in repairing reciprocating compressors- hands-on experience in repairing screw compressors up to 53 m3/min (Dalgakiran, Kaeser, Aerzen, Atlas Copco)- experience in repairing centrifugal or roots blowers up to 9000 m3/h (Aerzen, Dresser)- experience working in the largest Power Plants in Romania (Rovinari, Turceni, Paroseni)• Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment:- repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic lines and hoses- diagnostic hydraulic and pneumatic faulty equipments (cranes, ship unloaders, davits, winches, engine starting device, towing/mooring windlasses, etc.)- testing all types of armatures, valves, and distributors safe and proper operation- repair and maintain hydraulic lifting devices and winches onboard of ships or drilling rigs• Travelling to 3rd party workshops to supervise make up and/or installation of the company's products.• Ensuring that the equipment is checked and maintained in accordance with relevant task plans.• Compiling and maintaining technical records, reports and logs using the companies computerised ERP.• Maintaining and promoting a safe working environment within the department and the company.• Providing technical support to the team of mechanics and technicians.• Ability to interface with others and effectively function as a member and/or leader of the team• Ability to give direction to other employees
