Ninox Robotics provides services utilising advanced unmanned aerial systems to collect useful information for clients from a variety of industries.We specialise in drone services where operation beyond visual line of sight is beneficial (typically the case where areas exceed 1,000ha).Our pioneering services started with animal surveys - detecting and classifying species such as feral pigs, deer, goats, dogs, horses, etc. Before long, the highly capable nature of our systems and the usefulness of the data we collected allowed us to branch out to offer services to a large variety of other industries and applications (from monitoring bushfires to analysis of forestry stock). Now, our services fit into two main categories - high-resolution mapping & real-time video streaming.Being involved since the company's formation through to its current state has involved significant work with technical research and development, business planning, internal management & productivity optimisation, plus marketing and communication with a huge range of parties and clients.

Specialised in the setup of monitoring and reporting systems for enterprise IT infrastructure, focusing on performance and root causes of faults.Due to the large variety of IT environment types and components encountered, this involved complex customisations and integrations of existing 3rd party softwares and hardwares.The position mandated involvement with high and low level planning, from the start to finish of each engagement, including exposure to the sales and administrative processes.Additionally was solely responsible for developing the new company website.

Internship at CSIRO's Autonomous Systems Lab - Queensland Centre for Advanced Technologies (QCAT).Designed and developed autonomous hexapod systems utilising the ROS software framework. One of the primary goals was to facilitate further development through ease of code re-use between projects. The project also involved developing object detection and collision recovery techniques.Gained valuable skills working in a professional environment, on an individual project but with access to valuable information sources including experienced colleagues.
