In 17 years of working in the IT industry I’ve worked with whole spectrum of technologies from bespoke scripting to keep a small businesses POS system up to maintaining billion-dollar carrier networks. While the technologies I work with have changed over time, my core focus has not. I am always driving towards better reliability, more visibility, and higher security. I have a knack for understanding processes and predicting failure points. My broad experience allows me to quickly learn new technologies and methodologies.In the last 5 years I’ve shifted my focus from traditional IT towards full time software engineering, and while there’s been a steep learning curve on the language side of things, my existing skills of systems analysis, stakeholder management and solution design have served me well throughout.
