• Directed systems development on project with unusually complex real time constraints enabling partnering cable company to offer a VoIP-based post-paid international phone service package. Managed technical relationship with the business partner. Architecture components include SUN, Linux and Microsoft servers, Oracle databases, Sonus VoIP switches, C, C++ and Java code and SOAP for external interfaces.• Managed full lifecycle development of the CTI middleware interface used for IDT’s custom applications to integrate with Nortel switches and Symposium ACD, yielding annual savings of $1,000,000.• Led the restructuring of IDT’s global call center technology (ACD, IVR, CTI, predictive dialing, SIP VoIP) to facilitate the growth from 50 to 500 seats globally. This included architecture, managing system growth, supervision of system engineering, operations, and development groups, plus hands-on systems administration and database work for administration, debugging, and monitoring.

• Managed Workers Compensation policy issuance applications for all AIG Domestic Brokerage Companies using CMM-certified SDLC methodologies. Included management of 20-30 person design, programming, quality assurance, and support teams - both in the US and India. • Successfully transitioned offshore production support of complex system to third party vendor. Architecture components include Visual Basic, Visual C++, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft DTC, IBM MQ Series, COBOL, and DB2. System is used by 500 users in 31 offices in the US and Canada for processing workers compensation policies at the average rate of 1,200 transactions/day.• Cut operating expenses from $5.8 Million to $1.7 Million in 2 1/2 years while facilitating a 30% growth in business.• Authored business requirements document for systems and workflow changes for three business units with disparate needs from single Workers Compensation system. This system was successfully implemented in 1998.
