Acting as the 'trusted adviser' to all GP surgeries in Southend, Castle Point & Rochford, Mid Essex and North East Essex, on all things IT. Sitting between GP Practices and NEL CSU, I act as the 'go to' person when it comes to all things IT. Whether this is to raise a concern or escalate a support call or they wish to invest in certain IT hardware, it is our job to ensure we deliver an effective IT service. Our aim to provide GP surgeries with all the necessary equipment and knowledge to streamline their processes and improve efficiency within the GP environment.Writing of PID's and mandates for NHS England (NHSE).To facilitate processes to improve the use of IT systems and workflow in General Practice and to organise/report on performance information within Primary Care. Deliver IT training onsite, one on one or group basis covering all areas of Primary Care Clinical systems and software. Support GP's in the use of national incentives such as ERS, GP2GP and EPS2.[TUPE transfer from NEL CSU to AGEM CSU as of 1st July 2018]

Acting as a GPIT Project Engineer, responsible for the installation/migration and support of Computers and Users within GP's around Mid Essex. Sitting in a team of 9-12 who travel around Essex, migrating GP (and clerical) computers from Windows XP to Windows 7 - this is either by issuing new pieces of equipment/kit or through rebuilding the machine in situ via Windows Deployment/Offline Line Media USB Sticks. After the migration has taken place, we are on hand/'floor walking' clearing up any problems, discrepancies and issues which later occur due to the migration.My work also involves installation of medical software (ABPM, Spirometry, ECG software etc) as well as other clinical applications (Clinical Systems, Document Management).More recently, I have been involved in the installation of the NAS into surgeries and migrating the servers onto the new Virtual Machine Server situated on the NAS.
