Assumed the responsibility for the morale, training, welfare, administrative needs, and operational capability of a 46 Marine Motor Transport Platoon. These duties included preparation for multiple field training exercises and convoy operations, leading physical fitness training sessions, conducting monthly and annual performance reviews for all Marines under my charge. Additionally, I was responsible for maintenance, accountability, and proper operating procedures for more than 30 million dollars of Motor Transport equipment. Conducted more than (70) successful Combat Logistics Patrols providing transportation support to more than 1000 Marines and Sailors of 1st Battalion, 7th Marines during a combat deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
