I worked with SIL to make sure that the benefits of AI and NLP extend to local language communities. SIL longs to see people flourishing in community using the languages they value most. This includes flourishing in the digital sphere where AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP) is increasingly driving the features of products.

I established machine learning and data science best practices for Pachyderm, wrote blog posts, gave talks, and evangelized Go/Docker/Kubernetes. I also worked with developers to get their data and ML/AI analyses into Pachyderm and contributed new features into the Pachyderm open source project.

I provided 1-on-1 mentorship to students in Thinkful's data science in python course. I help these students through a project-based course to learn best practices and hone their data science skills. I also provided group help to students through channels such as chat, workshops, Q+A sessions, etc.

I worked directly with client representatives (both business and technical) to understand and flesh out new ideas, and I drafted comprehensive and understandable documents describing complex technical innovations, such as automated database governance applications, natural language processing applications, and customer risk evaluation applications.

I advanced a new computational formalism from conception to debugging, practical implementation and application. I worked individually to develop the formalism and initiated an ongoing international collaboration to expediate implementation.
