“Partnerships for Success” Grant Coordinator-Independently oversees the 5-year, $425,000 state-funded ‘Partnership for Success’ (PFS) Grant, aimed at reducing the non-medical use of prescription drugs among high school aged youth in the community. -Regularly meets with members of state agencies, including the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, to review and assess the current state of the grant and plan next steps for development and implementation.-Organizes and facilitates monthly task force meetings with community partners to promote PFS related-activities, develop a comprehensive strategic plan, implement evidence-based strategies, and promote community partnerships.-Analyzes state data to keep abreast of prescription drug trends, as well as conducts local data collection through surveys, key informant interviews, and focus groups.-Prepares and disseminates informational materials to citizens and community partners through local health fairs, citywide events and coalition meetings.-Works alongside the Health Director, to provide updates, review reports, and discuss the program budget.-Oversees support staff, creating and distributing administrative tasks.

-Independently researched, developed and facilitated health and safety training programs, covering various topics such as environmental and biological hazards, personal protective equipment, fall safety and ergonomics.-Worked as part of the Decontamination Team, constructing real-time simulations on hazardous spills, proper use of personal protection equipment, enforcing proper communication and role designation.-Assisted Directors with the adherence to OSHA and NIOSH guidelines. -Created and lead team building exercises, helping to promote active listening and reflection among participants to ensure proper worksite safety.

-Solely developed a new Holistic Training program, aimed to continue patient recovery from Physical Therapy, with an emphasis on health and wellness.-Provided instruction and support to a culturally diverse population, encouraging the achievement and sustainability of their health and fitness goals.

-Worked along side Physical Therapists to assist in the treatment needs of patients. -Maintained confidentiality and professionalism when working with patients with various musculoskeletal and neuromuscular deficiencies. -Guided patients through their exercises to confirm proper body mechanics. Ensured patient’s HIPAA rights were protected during all appointments. -Proficient in the use of electro stimulation machines, as well as computer scheduling programs.
