Responsible for digital innovation aiming to leverage digital transformation and emerging technology to create new business opportunities for the AW group. My focus is on promoting data driven decision making, process automation and improving the speed and ease of change. To make our vision reality we need a new software development platform in combination with great SaaS-integrations. I am the main project owner for these efforts. The goal is to create a framework for highly automated, low code development using sound architectural principles like DDD, CQRS and event sourcing.I also work with finding ways to use other investments in digital platforms like Office 365 to give maximum business impact.

As CIO I had the overall responsibility for IT as a business enabler at Academic Work. I built and led a group of about 75 talented people. Together we created a great culture with high ambitions and excellent competence.Having really useful systems and tools for running the business has been a vital part of the success of Academic Work. To accomplish this the IT function needs to be a strong business partner with deep knowledge about the business processes. My job was to create that partnership and keep the business and technology close together. I was responsible for the long term digital vision and road map and for making that happen in a cost efficient way as well as forecasting, personnel planning, maintenance of legacy systems and all other things managed by the IT function. Highlights include building a strong agile team for purchasing, development and maintenance of essential business software, replacing our main ERP/CRM system with custom systems, and several digital transformation projects like migrating to Office 365 and Azure hosting.

I ran a project focused on configuration, customization and implementation of a new suite of CRM, ERP and BI systems throughout the Academic Work Group.

Building a great culture and an efficient process for finding candidates for our clients. Managing personnel planning, HR related issues and forecasting.Together we managed to build a really good team and was profitable and growing rapidly when I left.
