Daniel has over 25 years major infrastructure experience working alongside major clients, delivering both transformational projects and change programmes to improve total client and supply chain capability. During this time Daniel has been at the forefront of the evolution of Project Controls working in a Programme Office environment to embed a programme controls approach. Daniel has a traditional background in civil engineering, progressing into project management and is now an industry leader in the field of project controls. Daniel has established, led and developed a multi-discipline team of over 85 individuals on complex, infrastructure projects in a regulated environment. Daniel is an excellent communicator, and proven conference speaker. He rapidly gains lasting mutual trust and respect of his clients, combining strong programme controls technical skills with an approachable and efficient style of delivery. Daniel is both task focused and ambitious to deliver an excellent service and exploit new opportunities.Daniel’s technical capabilities are backed up by his work with the APM. He has given numerous conference presentations, and is an author of their guide ‘Interfacing Risk and Earned Value’. He is also an experienced user of the APM’s Earned Value Compass, a diagnostic assessment to determine an organisations maturity and ability to embrace earned value management successfully. Through his training skills, Daniel is one of the most prominent approved trainers in Earned Value in the UK, having successfully trained and qualified over 200 professionals. Daniel has sector experience in telecommunications, pharmaceutical, aviation, highways, water, rail, defence and energy. His skill sets are applicable across all industries that are looking to improve their capability to delivery capital programmes. He has experience of consultancy assignments and longer term roles, supporting client organisations ranging from process development through to supply chain engagement.Daniel has led a number of business transformations for his clients. These transformation have ranged from improvement initiatives, through the establishment of commercial, procurement, and programme management organisations that have the capability to improve the efficiency and profitability of organisations.
