I have worked in a number of projects within CBS, all related to streamlining the access of (inter)national communities to our statistical information. We run projects with Agile Sprint or Kanban. Next to being a developer, I also need to give presentations to key stakeholders, supervise junior colleagues, speak to people from different levels within the organisation, make strategic planning, interview potential candidates and review business processes. - Conversational AI chatbotI was the technical lead in this project. Within our Agile squad we realised a chatbot that could answer users’ questions in a conversation and handle questions regarding National COVID-19 updates, census information, labour market, environment and economic issues. The main technologies were C# .Net, Nodejs, Google Dialogflow & Google Assistant, oData API, Postman and Azure DevOps.- Search Engine OptimisationI worked close to Data Scientists and AI specialists in this project. The solution we built has optimised the search function on cbs.nl with positive user feedback through a few iterations. The main technologies were Python/Pycharm, Vuejs, Bootstrap, Postman, Docker / Kubernetes, Elastic Search, Azure hosting services.- DotStat suite evaluationI worked in a small team that deployed and hosted DotStat (open source application suite for disseminating figures) on Kubernetes cluster so that other departments could evaluate this software suite and the changes / impacts to the whole organisation. The main technologies were Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts and Keycloak.- Statline Websites & APIsI worked in a DevOps team as a full stack developer. We maintained legacy systems and developed new web applications that spread out on 46 windows servers. Various technolgies are adopted in this project to satisfy the changing needs of the business, such as Angular, React, HTML/CSS, C#, ASP.net, MS SQL server, PostgresSQL, RabbitMQ, Solr, Team Foundation Server, GIT, Azure DevOps.

During these years I worked mainly as a consultant to help organisations across diverse industries automate and digitise their core business flows. I was involved within various projects from different roles and used different techniques such as: - developer in DevOps team to enhance existing applications and give technical support to web applications and mobile apps using Outsystems p10 and ServiceNow (client Royal Vopak); - project lead to build a new SAP procurement and purchasing website using SAP, HTML5, CSS and Javascript (client University Utrecht); - data migration specialist to migrate data from legacy system to SAP platform using MS SQLServer and SAP (client AkzoNobel); - BI / GIS analyst to analyse the quality of low-voltage power network using ArcGIS, QuantumGIS, FME and C# .net (client Alliander - a Dutch grid operator).

In Fugro Geoservices I was a developer and involved in building diverse geospatial software both independently and as a member of team. Although C#/.Net was the main programming language, the platform varied from desktop to mobile (Android) and thus the corresponding technologies including Java/Eclipse, AutoCAD COM, Oracle DB and RESTful api.Examples of the project in which I was involved are:- real-time sensing data transmission - in-car surveying systems (3D laser scans)- asset management systems (Android) - utility mapping modules (AutoCAD) - waterway traffic information analysis- Cone Penetration Test(CPT) data processing - offshore survey data conversion (FME).
