Daniel has over 20 years of experience as a strategic business leader, investor, and Board advisor. He is currently the Chief Financial & Strategy Officer at CommentSold, the North American leader in live selling technology for thousands of small to mid-sized retailers generating $3.5 billion in lifetime GMV. At CommentSold, he oversees the finance, accounting, analytics, strategy and people functions. Previously, Daniel served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer for LaserShip/OnTrac, which during his six-year tenure grew over 20x organically and through acquisitions to become a multi-billion dollar leading regional e-commerce parcel carrier in the U.S. Prior to that, Daniel was a private equity investor as a Partner at Narrow Gauge Capital and a Principal at Monitor Clipper Partners, where he served as the point person for the acquisition or sale of companies across a range of sectors including logistics, technology and healthcare. He was also previously a consultant at Monitor Group and an Urban Fellow at the New York City Economic Development Corporation. Daniel received a bachelor’s cum laude in economics from Yale University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
