Key contributor to Google Docs eSignature, which launched as a closed beta in Q3 2022. Product owner and engineering lead of the signed contract generation feature. Led teams of engineers and provided team development, coaching, and mentoring.• Collaborated with 3 engineers to deliver the signed contract as a digitally-signed PDF document through use of Java microservices and third-party APIs. Delivered the feature on time for the product’s Alpha launch.• Led a team of 4 engineers to add a trustworthy and accessible audit trail to the contract. Directed product discussions, managed tasks, and designed its software components. Delivered the feature on time for the Alpha Phase 2 launch.• Hosted 2 interns and mentored 2 new hires. I managed the YouTube Partner Program, a vast ecosystem of content creators, to improve the monetization experience and to combat abusive actors, by automating complex workflows and building new features.• Designed, implemented, and maintained the automation of a combined human and algorithmic review process. Examined hundreds of thousands of channels using a SQL-based selection system and a C++ graph-based distributed-processing pipeline. Redirected many millions of dollars per month from bad actors to creators in good standing.• Spearheaded a new initiative that allowed users to appeal monetization review decisions by sending video evidence. Iterated from a pilot program to a full feature (thousands of appeal invites per day). Improved user feedback and monetization reinstatement rates by 100X.• Initiated the overhaul of a long-standing data pain-point that was causing multiple escalations per week. Improved the alerting criteria, dashboards and documentation. Decreased escalations by 5x and simplified mitigations by team on-calls.
