About Daniel Yusupov

I graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelors in Neurobiology. My passion for science, thirst for knowledge, and desire to positively impact the lives of those around me have inspired me to pursue a career in medicine. I have explored, and continue to explore, experiences in research labs, hospital volunteering, and shadowing doctors/surgeons to gain a better understanding of the world of medicine and how I may fit into it.In addition to my medical experiences, I also have extensive experience with leadership and community service. I was the President and officer of Golden Key International Honour Society at the University of Washington. As President, I led a team of officers to effectively engage members in academic and service events to better ourselves and our community. I received the Husky Leadership Certificate while at UW, and was chosen as one of the inaugural members of the Husky 100.Now I serve as Project Manager at a financial start up company. I manage teams of web/software developers, sales staff, web designers, and more. I am broadening my breadth of knowledge, expanding into the worlds of finance and investing, team management, marketing, and web development/design. I plan to utilize these skills as a physician in the future to work more effectively with my team of doctors, nurses, and hospital/clinic staff to provide a better healthcare experience for my patients.
