Brought in to lead special purpose teams to resolve long-standing process issues and bring at-risk projects to success. Collaborated with medical management to design and develop custom applications for 13+ health plans with variety of workflow, reporting, and business process needs, including intensive care management, long term care, and disease management comprising 1000+ end users and 1,000,000+ patient records. Managed project with third party vendor to bring remote version of software from alpha to go-live. Directed efforts to maintain compliance with state and federal requirements. Designed and developed reports for city, state, and federal agencies. Worked directly with senior management and clients, including health plan and government directors.

Started on as-needed basis for research and review of discovery for upcoming murder trial, promoted to full time within a month. Drafted motions and memoranda for a wide variety of cases, from homicide to theft to drug offenses. Indexed and gisted voluminous discovery records, both electronic and paper, for ease of use in hearings and trial. Advised and appeared in court with clients for preliminary hearings, arraignments, etc.

Researched and wrote bench memoranda and drafts of judicial opinions for matters pending before the court on topics including FOIA requests, patent infringement, copyright infringement, writs of habeas corpus, and anti-trust. Orally briefed Judge regarding on-calendar cases and specific issues of inquiry.

Coordinated quarterly publication of journal, from selection of articles, through editing, and formatting for publication. Managed teams of senior editors through the editorial process.

Reviewed, analyzed and wrote software licensing contracts. Drafted specifications in collaboration with health plan clients to meet state and federal reporting requirements. Traveled to client sites to design and develop custom case tracking software solutions as well as present business processes to executives and train users in the use of the software.

Started as file clerk and promoted to permanent position within 2 months. Summarized needs analysis reports and tailored specifications for medical case management software (CaseTrakker) to clients (including health plans, hospitals/clinics, and care management services ranging up to 400+ users). Wrote SQL queries, VB scripts, and CSS/HTML to meet specific customer needs, including, but not limited to: query optimization and customization, report creation, fax/email automated delivery (e.g. directly to state agencies), calculation of risk assessments/medical algorithms, and customized user-specific interfaces. Assisted in development of graphical user interface for CaseTrakker Enterprise. Drafted technical manuals, created instructional videos and directly trained clients in groups of up to 20 people from executives to case manager end users both in person and via Webex and/or conference calls.

Coordinated $1 million+ income property deals, representing clients through all stages of the purchasing process. Analyzed property value, negotiated compromises, drafted contracts, and provided information on Internal Revenue Code § 1031 exchanges. Oversaw marketing campaigns in online, print, and direct mail. Created and maintained brokerage website.
