Danny Berish is an award winning documentary film director dedicated to pushing the boundaries of traditional documentary storytelling and co-founder of Black Rhino Creative, a film production company creating captivating content that showcases diverse voices. He was featured at Hot Docs in 2019 for a six-part Indigenous food and travel series entitled Red Chef Revival and again officially selected in 2021 for Nude to Me, which is currently airing on CBC Gem. In the fall of 2022, Danny Berish premiered his first feature length film Outside In, which explores the science of healthy home design and a five part food and travel series, House Special, which explores Chinese Canadian history through small town Chinese food. He is currently in production on a feature length documentary chronicling the life of world famous architect Arthur Erickson airing on Knowledge Network and a five part travel series airing on AMI, exploring Canada through the lens of the disabled community. Past awards include a Leo Award for best direction, Yorktown Film Festival Golden Sheaf Award and Best Doc Series of the year by Doc Weekly.
