Current• Dual-hat engineering manager: - Section manager responsible for leading and managing stakeholder reviews of every designed hardware ensuring they adhere to program standards and requirements, comply to industry best practices, and are physically manufacturable with minimal costs. - Functional manager responsible for setting a vision and providing objective-oriented direction to engineers of mechanical, electrical, and systems backgrounds with emphasis on retainment: ensuring sufficient scope of work, authority, career/talent development, and engagement.• Developed and implemented a long-term, strategic hiring plan producing a 75% increase in the number of employees in one year with 100% retention, 30-60-90-Day plans upon starting, and (typically) weekly one-on-one conversations.• Developed and maintained program performance metrics to identify trends in non-conformances to provide specific, actionable feedback. - Collaborated with key stakeholders to initiate similar metrics to collectively ensure product quality from the start of product definition. - Led cadenced briefings, reports, and other communications to executive leadership to escalate program needs and enable efforts forprocess improvement in operations.• First quality manager to maintain three automated program-wide metrics that are fed directly from the authoritative source of truth aimed to improve program operational efficiency. - Presented two of these metrics to USAF customers which contributed to overall award fee of $24M.• Organized and led quarterly planning sessions where complex, interdependent projects are broken down to actionable tasks, prioritized, and allocated resources to in support of master schedules and milestones.• Winner of the 2023 Patriot Award: Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR)
