I began my engineering career as a Junior Engineer with the Kings County Public Works Department. After that point, I moved to an engineering firm in the private sector, Lars Andersen & Associates, Inc., where I have worked for 18 years. During my tenure at the firm, I have made it my goal to continuously push for the highest levels of proficiency from my co-workers and the utmost satisfaction of the firm’s clients. In the course of my career at Lars Andersen & Associates, I have worked my way up through ranks. After beginning as an Engineering Assistant, my positions included Design Engineer, Project Engineer, Project Manager, Senior Director and now, Vice President and CFO of the firm. My rise has given me a well rounded understanding of every aspect of my field on a variety of projects ranging in size from multi-million dollar commercial projects to small municipal endeavors.I have made continuing my professional development a priority throughout my career. In order to maintain my position on the cutting edge of my field, I have become both a LEED Accredited Professional, and one of the few Certified Access Specialists in the Fresno Area. These certifications have allowed me to lend my expertise of “green building” practices and ADA/accessibility requirements to each project the firm of Lars Andersen & Associates, undertakes. In addition to being known in the Central Valley as a well respected civil engineer for over a decade, I have grown to also be renowned in the area for my expertise in the area of accessibility surveys and inspections. Not only has he been referenced in various local media outlets, I has also been contacted to give presentations on the subject throughout the Central Valley for municipalities, corporations and business organizations.Specialties: I have vast experience in the field of civil engineering, survey and design in projects which have ranged from commercial and school work, to government, multifamily and residential projects. Myexpertise includes a superior knowledge of adherence to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Green Building Practices, and all areas of civil engineering and design, including project management.
