As an intern with the YWCA, I conducted an anthropological history of the YWCA to understand how it has impacted women in its community throughout time, and how the empowerment of women manifested in both the programs of the YWCA as well as the women being impacted. I developed anthropological skills including archival research, participant observation, and interviewing.

As a student supervisor, it is my job to aid our student callers with the procedures and system used to make the calls to Ithaca College's alumni and parents. I supervise during calling shifts and offer any assistance when needed, and while not at shift, I work with our calling system to make sure the information for people is correct as well as checking data that is recorded during calling shifts.
