Strong hands on skills consisting of: venipuncture, restraint, IVC placement, obtaining TPRs, digital radiography, performing dental prophylaxis, dental radiographs, inducing and monitoring anesthesia, administering vaccines, laboratory diagnostics, monitoring hospitalized patients following treatment sheets, etc. Relied on by multiple doctors each shift to intake patients, communicate with clients, provide client education, discharge patients, fill prescriptions, etc. Not only helping out with external clients, rescues, etc., but also maintaining our onsite rescue patients (Help Save Pets) ensuring their vaccines are up-to-date, monitoring daily for any new issues, and promoting the adoptable animals to the public to find forever homes. I run our social media pages for our onsite adoption and serve as an advocate for our fur babies in need of homes, giving them a voice of their own. Along with walk-in patients, assisting with daily boarding patients and those coming for daycare. Monitoring health during patient’s stay, communicating with owners on pet’s wellbeing. Show less
