About the project:Development and enhancement of a key CRM system for VTB Bank.About the experience:I worked in a cross-functional Agile product team of 10 people, including 3 testers, following the Scrum methodology. In particular, my team implemented functionality related to debit cards and credit products for call center employees and sales points. My experience can be divided into two parts. In the first part, the team focused on developing functionality for the Siebel CRM system with SOA data bus. Over the year, we successfully implemented a large number of tasks of various complexities, from small print forms to major enhancements such as credit holidays, courier delivery of credit cards, and referral programs.In the second part, tasks were related to reengineering the information system and migrating existing functionality to microservices architecture. Over the last 6 months, we managed to implement several MVPs and major solutions for the call center, providing the ability for call center employees to automatically block all cards with one button click upon customer request or unblock held amounts in case of transaction duplicates.About my responsibilities on the project:Conducting manual integration-functional testing of frontend and backend;Testing microservices via API using Swagger and Postman;Testing Siebel CRM web services using SoapUI;Component and module testing on DEV stands using stubs;Clean, regression, and acceptance testing;Identifying and localizing UI and integration defects;Logging defects in the bug tracking system (Jira, HP ALM) and monitoring their timely resolution;Developing reports on test results;Participating in demonstrations and conducting acceptance tests of developed functionality for clients;Analyzing technical specification requirements;Designing test plans/test cases and maintaining them in TestIT;Preparing test data;Writing and coordinating test artifacts in Confluence and Jira;Supporting release deployments;Transferring competencies to new employees;Communicating with analysts, developers, and related integration teams on the project.About achievements:Progressed from an intern to a middle position through certification;Independently transitioned to testing REST API architecture due to the transition to microservices;Implemented all tasks without high or medium defects, successfully demonstrating 6 of them to clients.
