My assignment in Liberia was focused on design and implementation of activities that serve to reinforce conditions for the economic revitalization of communities by promoting private enterprises, including rehabilitation of vital transportation, power, and other public infrastructure, through specific tasks, like; energy sector reform, renewable energy pilot projects in rural areas, rehabilitation of rural roads, bridges and agricultural and educational facilities in support of the USAID Liberia’s programs.This position requires an exceptional ability to multi-task and to maintain professional contracts among a broad range of Government of Liberia (GOL) institutions, implementing partners, civil society groups, donors, and private sector entities. It is expected to have technical expertise in renewable energy technologies, civil engineering, and relevant experience and maturity to exercise professional judgment to support the Mission’s infrastructure and energy programs.

I have worked on international development projects and programs related to infrastructure and community development in Serbia, that produced more than 5000 different small projects, with half of them related to the construction/reconstruction of the different types of infrastructure, roads, schools, hospitals, water supplying and sewerage systems.I was designated USAID program manager providing technical and administrative oversight of the various projects: CRDA (Community Revitalization through Democratic Action), 6 years, $200M Civil society Program, (2002-2007); PPES (Preparedness, Planning and Economic Security) activity, 5 years, $20+ million (2006-2011).I have served as an USAID/State representative in Central/East Serbia, responsible for maintaining good relationship with Government representatives, other Donors, USAID Contractors, local representatives and NGOs and for continuous improvement in developing new understanding of USAID policies and procedures, especially those dealing with program effectiveness, implementation, evaluation and leveraging.
