About Danijel Dasic

Danijel Dašić is a graduated civil engineer, civil activist and advocate of decentralization. His career can be divided into three parts. The first was within the enterprise "South Morava" from Niš where he worked on numerous infrastructure projects, from development of water supply systems to building of complex projects, like river bed rearranging and hydro construction (dams, bridges). Significant part was also stone works focused on reconstruction and rehabilitation of historical sites.In the second part of his career, the focus on participation in international development projects in Serbia and Africa. Those projects ranged from community building to infrastructure improvement programs. Third part of his career is dedicated to supporting development of the local non-governmental sector, related to the topics of decentralization, election system reform, corruption, and improved citizen participation in decision making process.He is a member of MENSA Association and a great advocate of the unconditional respect for human rights and freedom of speech.
