Pocket Worlds is a fully remote gaming company and a Y Combinator alumnus (batch S18). The HQ is in San Francisco, California. - The first UA/Marketing person to join the team, reporting directly to CEO. My goal is to fully build the Marketing function within Pocket Worlds. Managed a creative team of three marketing artists, as well as a contractor data scientist- Achieved a 10x+ increase in monthly UA spend that resulted in 6x increase in overall revenue- Built up UA analytics and reporting (format, process and execution)- Implemented a creative production and testing process that delivers excellent results - Initiated and oversaw development of a cutting edge LTV forecast script

Joined the Facebook team to help with UA efforts for Gardenscapes, Homescapes, Township and Fishdom. The focus was on overall Facebook UA strategy, as well as managing and analyzing campaigns.

- Launched CATS: Crash Arena Turbo Stars, achieving over 150 million installs to date, with a significant share of paid traffic (more than 10 million installs after the launch weekend)- As part of the four people UA team reporting directly to the COO, I run large-scale paid marketing for CATS. My main responsibilities include Facebook Ads and other paid social channels, as well as cross promotion through the Cut the Rope series, ASO and some CPI networks.- Responsible for marketing new & experimental titles, as well as soft launches. Starting from only 2019, reorganized the process providing an efficient framework to assess marketing potential early. The new soft launch framework ensures that the product team gets reliable data allowing to develop the game during soft launch.- Worked with the Analytics team to develop an LTV prediction model and a predictive ROI based optimization method that allows to efficiently scale & optimize UA campaigns and has few direct counterparts in the industry.- Set up and directly managed UA creative production for CATS, going from zero to a fully functional in-house team.- Successfully introduced paid marketing through Chinese social channels (Bytedance, Tencent, Weibo) with top spend & ROI.- Brought App Store Optimization processes to a new level, conducting experiments with assets leading to 30-50% uplifts in install rates.

- I was responsible for live-ops in mobile apps including Lingvo Mobile (iOS and Android), FineScanner and Business Card reader. This included scheduling IAP offers, promoting them via push notifications and analyzing the efficiency. A very significant portion of mobile app revenue was directly attributed to these activities- Introduced the fastlane/deliver software as a faster method of uploading screenshots to the App Store, fully automating the process. As a result, submitting new releases took about half an hour per app instead of at least 4-5 hours.- Managed several partner projects with including Evernote, English First and AppleInsider.ru. This brought a significant uplift of quality users- Helped select and launch three new markets for FineScanner and Business Card Reader by analyzing business intelligence data from across the globe

I worked 20 hours a week on my bachelor's thesis research. Researched liquid-propellant rockets and developed a Matlab algorithm for calculating specific impulse losses caused by vibrational non-equilibrium in liquid-propellant rocket engines.

Varlamov.ru is a top-ranking Russian travel and general interest blog with up to 5 million unique monthly readership. My responsibilities included:- social media marketing on Facebook, VK and Odnoklassniki. During my tenure the number of subscribers on the VK page increased by 50% (from 90k to 130k)- writing, editing and publishing blog posts on various subjects. I created over 50 unique articles liveblogged important events such as the aftermath of Boris Nemtsov's murder or the MH-17 catastrophe. Several of my posts attracted over a thousand comments. - designing and overseeing the development of text processing scripts aimed at making the internal process faster and easier, cutting the amount of mechanical work by dozens of working days
