• Provides 24/7 operation of teir 1 technical support at SDH and ROADM/DWDM ECI network at Smart Communication.• Monitoring and maintainance of all ECI's network element performance such as immediate troubleshooting and restoration for all network transmission outages using NMS Lightsoft software (SDH and DWDM Network).• Generates documentation of Network Events, customer outages, and response time for management performance review.• Generates documentation of Fiber Optics trouble to the isolation and restoration team including SMART and PLDT field Engineers.• Responsible for handling switch configuration, mapping and creation of Layer 1 (PDH, SDH, and SPDH), Layer 2.5 (MPLS Networks) and DWDM trails and services.• Generates documentation of formal service activation and executes project process such as engineering work plan, Work Order/ Circuit Authorization Order, Method of Procedures, Root Cause Analysis and completion reports.• Experience in leading and assisting clients and contractors performing project implementation activities such as ECI Fiberswitch migration projects, site survey, installation, commissioning, testing, integration, troubleshooting, acceptance, rehoming, cutover, inventory and etc.• Provides guidance to customers on use and features provided by ECI products.

• Provides assistance to the Telecom Engineers in field activities.• Establishes documentation and daily reports of the status of line and core equipments.• Installation and Extraction of IVD line cards at AG Cabinet.• Preventive maintenance and monitoring of AG cabinet through the use of Remote Desktop Connection.• Handles basic troubleshooting of Telephone and DSL lines.• Handles inventory checking of materials such as patch cords and line cards.• Responsible for E1 checking/termination clean-up for trunk Gateway.• Experience in handling equipments of FOC (Fiber Optic Cable) splicing.• Experience in handling test equipments such as OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) and Signal Spectrum Analyzer.• Escalating the Fiber Optical Network outages to the isolation and restoration.
